Flood Damage to the Carnegie Club, We need your help!!!

We recently were affected by a major storm that passed through Carnegie on June 28, 2014.  The entire floor of the bottom level of our 65 year old facility was submerged in floodwater. The flooring, carpeting, and bottom portions of the walls need to be sanitized and replaced in order for it to be a safe and functional area for the kids who rely on us every day.  We serve 1,000 young people per year in our Club facility with educational and recreational activities.  The affected area downstairs houses our computer lab, arts and crafts room, teen room, exercise rooms, multi-purpose facility, and two day cares and Children’s Adventure.  Currently we are serving 130 youth per day in our Boys & Girls Club summer program and we are confined to the top floor until the bottom floor can be renovated.  The daycare facilities are in need of immediate renovation in order for the children to return.  The Carnegie Boys & Girls Club is a staple in the community and with your support we know we can get back on track quickly.  The estimates for the necessary renovations are $50,000.   Insurance coverage is an estimated $25,000.  At this time our organization has very limited discretionary funds to use for this type of tragedy and we ask that you please support us so we can quickly recover.
